Tony has been holding a fly rod since age 8, and he's been writing about fishing since age 12.
After graduating from UMass, Amherst in 1994, Tony landed his first job as an associate editor at a small publishing company
in Boston. Three years later, he worked his way
up to a managing editor/online editor position.
In 2000, Tony jumped on the dot-com bandwagon by
becoming a technical writer. He continues to perform
technical writing today. When he's not removing comma
splices
or documenting software, you'll most likely find Tony
fly fishing in
southern New Hampshire, on Martha's Vineyard
or somewhere in between.
Tony has been the managing editor of GBTU.org since April of 2004.
