10/28/04 Nantucket News from Capt. Lynne Heyer

WOW! The Sox won! How cool is that? Jeff and I have been watching the Sox on their journey this season, and are very happy for their win. It has taken a long time, but all good things take time.

On another happy note, Burt just called in, reporting that there are still fish in Polpis Harbor. He said that they weren't the big ones from last week, but they were biting. I also heard part of a report from Capt. Ken that there were fish up at Great Point on Saturday. I didn't get the full report because his cell phone connection was breaking up. He had gone cod fishing, and on his way in, he got some fish in Great Point Rip. I don't have all the details, but it's good to hear that there are still fish around.
