Red Brook Grand Opening Sunday, September 26
The Grand Opening of the Lyman Reserve, site of Red Brook, the Sea Run Brook Trout stream in Wareham, will be at 1 PM on Sunday, September 26, 2004. Charles Gauvin, Trout Unlimited President, will attend the event, sponsored by the Trustees of the Reservations, which owns the property. In a deal struck between TU and the Trustees, Trout Unlimited will provide management and guidance on fisheries and land management issues for Red Brook, which this year opened to the public to fishing under special regulations. The stream is not stocked. Anglers may use only artificial lures. Along with the stream, there is nearly 600 acres of land on the Lyman Reserve.
