“An old gaucho’s tale inspired the search for a new world-record brook trout; but the water, landscape and the culture surrounding it became the impetus to conserve and protect it all.”

On Wednesday, December 6th we are excited to co-host this fantastic film with the Boston University Outing Club and Greater Boston Trout Unlimited.

Patagonia and co-sponsors Far Bank Enterprises, Yeti and Costa released this feature-length Finding Fontinalis.  It is designed for local grassroots fundraising efforts:  Conservation message at the heart of inspirational documentary about one of the oldest fishing world records on the books.

A 70-minute film by Travis Lowe, Finding Fontinalis explores how the search for a new world record brook trout in Argentina ultimately leads the anglers involved on a mission to conserve and protect much more than just the fish itself.

Shot over a nearly four-year span on location in Canada, Argentina, Montana, California and Florida, Finding Fontinalis is the brainchild of angler and filmmaker Travis Lowe.

Your donation supports our conservation efforts and enters you in the raffle for door prizes.

We will have light refinements and food.  After the movie we will have a raffle, and Q&A session about TU and discounted student memberships.  One of our goals for this meeting is to generate college age interest in GBTU and Conservation.
